The piece is mainly based off of the title of the song - not necessarily the whole theme of the song, but to me, Alone In December has different meanings and/or implications with it, so I think it's rather suiting anyhow. I am pretty satisfied with how the piece turned out - as usual, I found myself still able to keep adding on, making it a little better each time, but I wanted to call it done and not spend much more time on it. I usually don't get around to doing holiday-themed pieces, but this one just worked out. I hope you like it and I'd love to hear what you think.

(It may seem gloomy, but I love this time of the year, so Merry Christmas to all )
